2026 MANDATORY COACHES CLINIC MEETINGS & INFO
ANYONE wanting to participate with any T.Y.B.A. sanctioned league team MUST ATTEND a Mandatory Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Moms/Dads, Dug Out Moms/Dads, Scorekeepers, Team Volunteers & Umpire Clinic – in order to get certified and get your Certification Card. (Which you must have on you at all times) you must attend one of these classes. Failure to attend will result in not be able to participate with any team whatsoever. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT TILL LAST MINUTE !!

DATE OF BIRTH CUT-OFF IS APRIL 30 “OPEN ” DIVISION IS TRAVEL TEAMS, ALLSTAR, BPA, LITTLE LEAGUE, DIZZY DEAN, DIXIE YOUTH AND YOU MUST SANCTION WITH TYBA & SHOW PROOF OF INSURANCE TO PLAY – OR CAN PURCHASE INSURANCE THRU TYBA IN ORDER TO PLAY IN THIS DIVISION. SANCTION & INSURANCE INFORMATION
TYBA accepts all Insurances – BPA, Little League, Dizzy Dean, ASA, etc. You must present proof of Insurance to participate in any TYBA tournaments. You will be required to send in the proof of insurance and must be up to date, if you do not have Team Insurance you may purchase Insurance from T.Y.B.A.
$ 85.00 TEAM INSURANCE thru T.Y.B.A. Effective thru 3/1/26- 2/28/27
$ 30.00 SANCTION FEE –Is NON – REFUNDABLE once payment has been processed & the Official TYBA Roster Affidavit, Medical Release Forms have been sent to you, as the required forms needed in order to participate in any TYBA Tournaments.
You will receive an email with the instructions of all forms and the dates forms are due, in order to be approved to be placed on the brackets for any of the tournaments.
Deadline for paperwork is the Wednesday of the week the tournament is scheduled by 6:00 p.m. to have all paperwork into Tammy with TYBA for approval to be placed on the brackets.
* These forms are legal documents and all must be filled out with Player’s Name & Date of Birth – Parent’s signature, and Relationship for each player of the team.
TYBA will not accept any other roster forms from other sanctions, handwritten roster forms, or any forged documents for any participating teams.

PLEASE BE ADVISED !!
ALL BATS MUST BE STAMPED WITH EITHER USA, USSA, BPF 1.15 ARE ALL LEGAL AS WELL AS WOODEN BATS.
All bats should not exceed 33”in length or 3 1/8 in diameter. Bats must either be stamped BPF 1.15 or be on the USSSA approved bat list. Umpires may check bats prior to and/of during the game during league or tournament play. The head coach is responsible for his players using legal bats. BBCOR applies to 13/18 only and is optional for 11/12
This decision is based on player safety. Any questions can be directed to Joe Tenpenny if needed. Please see attachments for more information to return and see what the bat looks like. UMPIRES WILL BE CHECKING THE BATS !
